Ideally situated on the shore of Tanchet lake with the ocean waves right nearby, Institut Sports Océan is the largest water sports centre in the Pays de la Loire region.

- Institut Sports Océan - "Longe côte" sea wading :
A real workout, sea wading consists of walking along the shoreline in waist-high water. It’s a fun group activity that provides of gentle way of improving balance and strengthening muscles.
Session duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.
Activity suitable for all levels, from age 15 and above.

Just a few kilometres from the busy beaches, the marshes show holidaymakers a different aspect of the Pays d’Olonne region. Paddleboarding along the saltwater river is a more athletic way to explore the Olonne marshland.
The area with its many waterways is a special place for visitors to relax, and the sport offers a recreational approach, fun yet educational, to exploring a unique environment.
The centre’s paddleboards comply with quality and safety requirements.
They can be rented for different themed circuits.

DIVING

A non-profit scuba diving club based in Les Sables d’Olonne.
Our services include an introduction to scuba diving in a swimming pool to get a feel for the sport, Level 1, 2 and 3 training programmes and supervised practice sessions every Tuesday evening at Aqualonne.
Our diving activity consists of club dives, generally twice a year, and regular dives from May to September in the bay of Les Sables d’Olonne.
Any diver wishing to join in the club’s activities is welcome. To do so, they should fill in a subscription form.
They should also have a medical fitness-to-dive certificate, and a photograph of their diploma.

Non-profit diving club (law 1901 – a member of FFESSM, the French federation for underwater sports) whose purpose is to enable its members to engage in scuba diving activities.
The club prepares its members for diplomas: diving levels 1, 2 and 3, RIFAP (underwater rescue and first aid), use of nitrox, etc.
- Training sessions on Thursday evenings throughout the year, at the Plesses swimming pool: AQUALONNE - Château d’Olonne at 8.30 pm except during periods when sea diving takes place
- Quarry dives are organised when sea dives are not recommended

- Mid-distance wreck dives, 20 to 40 metres, Level 2
